The Atoms Face Off In New Power-Swapping DC Comics Series

The DC Universe has been thrown into pandemonium following the events of Absolute Power, as abilities have been on the fritz across the board. In 2025, it will be up to some of DC's brightest heroes to figure out what's happening - and they will face challenges from one of their own Justice League heroes, Captain Atom.
Justice League: The Atom Project #1 comes from Ryan Parrott, John Ridley, and Mike Perkins. In the series, Ryan Choi and Ray Palmer, who both use the mantle of Atom, will try to solve the ongoing power-swapping issue among heroes. However, Captain Atom will be among those who fight their efforts, as he doesn't want his devastating powers ever to be found again.
The upcoming series features main cover art from Perkins showcasing the two Atoms with Captain Atom. Dan Mora's card stock variant looks at the two transformed heroes in their pint-sized costumes. Lucio Parrillo's variant shows off Atom in the rain. Meanwhile, Stephen Segovia's variant showcases the potential bomb Captain Atom's powers can unleash.
