Bryan Lee O'Malley is one of Canada's most acclaimed comic creators, and his work on Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Seconds, and Lost at Sea has captivated readers for the last two decades.
In a surprise announcement, one of O'Malley's most beloved stories is coming back as Snotgirl with Leslie Hung (and colorist Rachael Cohen) returns!
Snotgirl stars Lottie, who struggles to balance their life as a social media star and model with their insecurities and personal challenges.
The series seemingly ended four years ago, but O'Malley recently revealed he's been working with Hung to continue the comic with an upcoming issue #16:
“This comic has been cave-aged for four years until the crystalline structures are perfect," O'Malley said in a press release from Image Comics. "It will have an incredible mouthfeel.”
Snotgirl #17 from Image Comics features two covers. Hung draws the main cover, while O'Malley brings his trademark style to a variant featuring the comic's main characters. Check out O'Malley's cover, followed by the text solicit.
While Lottie navigates the ins and outs of her new relationship, we turn our attention to Caroline’s mysterious brother Virgil. Just who the heck is this guy? What does he know? Who knows what he knows? And why? And how? And what? And huh? Only in SNOTGIRL!

Snotgirl #17 arrives at CaptCan Comics on January 8th, 2024. Reserve a copy in-store or online to ensure you don't miss out on the fan-favorite series!
